Kimmy Dora and the Temple of Kiyeme

Kimmy Dora and the Temple of Kiyeme, which opened in cinemas last June 13, is the sequel to the 2009 film Kimmy Dora: Kambal sa Kiyeme. Eugene Domingo, who recently won the People's Choice Award for Best Actress at the 6th Asian Film Awards, played the dual roles of Kimmy and Dora Go Dong Hae.

Uge really did a great job in this film. Her switching from one personality to another is amazing. She also holds the record of being the first lead actress in Philippine cinema to star in several films-- seven to be exact-- in a single year. 2012 is definitely her year!

The film's comedy-horror genre is very typical to writer Chris Martinez with the very professional direction by Bb. Joyce Bernal. We, Filipinos, love to watch comedy movies to forget the stress and all the negativities around us. I'm sure this sequel of Kimmy Dora will be a big hit. I enjoyed the movie and for me, Kimmy Dora movies are the best local comedy film the PH has produced.

Broken Constellation is an Alternative Rock band in Philippines formed in 2011. The band consists of vocalist and rhythm guitarist Kim Seechua, lead guitarist and backing vocalist John Michael Gayondato, bassist Geralyn Ada, and drummer Alex Tugbo. The band’s name is named by John Michael Gayondato. 

Members of the band were former high school classmates.  Their vocalist Kim Seechua has a talent in creating songs, so they start to practice her original song. Bands like All Time Low, Mayday Parade and He is We inspired the band members on their songs.

They are now currently working on their songs entitled “You’re My Shooting Star, Rockin’ Romance and My Valentine”.

Kim Seechua is studying at St. Paul, taking up BSIT and now on her freshmen year. John Michael Gayondato, Alex Tugbo and Geralyn Ada were studying at Polytechnic University of the Philippines but taking up different courses. Michael taking up BSECE, Alex is taking up BSME and Geralyn is taking up BSEM and all of them are on their fourth year level.

Alex and Michael have been members of a band on their high school days named “Elegy”, but due to hectic schedules they’ve been disbanded.

But now those two guys started to continue their life in music industry. They created this band to help Kim in reaching her goals and definitely to give a relaxing and good music to their listeners.

“We know to ourselves that we are new in this kind of world, we were young, but we want to nourish the gifts given to us. We want to turn their dreams into reality. Following the footsteps of the giants and make our own marks in this industry. Even though we’re just a dwarf in the eyes of many, but our hearts on music is as big as those professionals.”

Transformers 3- A Date with Nuffnang and PLDT

Transformers 3 "Dark of the Moon" hit the big screen today.

I believe this 3rd part of Transformers is the best. We had the chance to watch it on its premiere day thanks to Nuffnang and PLDT. You have to see this part of Transformers, best part in the series.

The movie amplifies the action with high-adrenaline stunts from the drones. I
just can't believe that those scenes may be possible. It was near-perfection. It made
my jaw drop and there's a lot of funny moments that made the entire cinema laughing
to death.

Yes i do miss Megan Fox but, Rosie did the job well and remained hot through the end of the movie. Shia Labeouf (Sam Witwicky) improved a lot on his acting skills from the previous parts. Michael Bay is really awesome in directing films like this. (e.g. Avatar) This may be the last movie we're going to see for a few years with this near-perfection cinematography and the like.

My friends liked it. The people at the back of the cinema also liked it with a kick in my back. And I liked it.
More people enjoyed this than the last. So you better watch it or life is yours to miss.

Green Lantern

Atlast! I saw the movie and i can say that it's worth the long wait after the release of its trailer.



This film is a bit different from any other superhero-saving-people-from-bad-guys
 movie when talking about violence. The villain here, Sinestro, uses violence to intimidate
 people, kill people and even his allies if he thinks that they are not useful anymore.
 He even convinced himself as he has the power to rule the universe without knowing
 that the Green Lantern corps refused to yield with his plans.




Animated actions are good. The part when Sinestro's torturing and killing people
 for his extremely wicked schemes caught my attention. It's not the typical killings
 of a villain. The scenes were moving as if it's for real. There were too much bloodshed
whenever someone dies!



At the end of the story, the Green Lantern Corps was able to maintain peace
throughout the cosmos with their teamwork and courage even though at some
point it seems that all is lost and can never regain the glory.
